Which Corn Dogs Were Recalled?

The recall affects a limited number of items produced between March 17 and Sept. 26, 2025, and sold under the brands Jimmy Dean or State Fair.

All the recalled products have the establishment numbers “EST-582” or “P-894” printed on the packaging.

The recalled corn dogs were sold online and in stores across the country, as well as directly to school districts and Department of Defense facilities nationwide.

Why Were The Corn Dogs Recalled?

According to FSIS, the recalled corn dogs may contain pieces of wood, which present a safety hazard if consumed.

So far, five injuries have been reported in connection to the recalled items.

Because of the safety concern, FSIS gave the recall a Class I risk level, which means there’s a “reasonable probability” that eating the corn dogs “will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.”

What You Should Do

Look for the recalled corn dogs in your fridge or freezer. If you have the affected products, toss or return them right away.

FSIS advises anyone concerned about injury from the recalled products to contact a healthcare provider.
