Warm And Dry Wednesday, Wet Weather Front On Friday

South Florida will be warm and dry on Wednesday, but some changes are on the way as we approach the holiday weekend.  Wednesday will feature sunny skies on the Gulf coast and a mix of sun and clouds elsewhere, with sunnier skies prevailing in the afternoon.  An elevated risk of dangerous rip currents will remain in place at the Atlantic beaches, and the western part of the area will see an elevated risk of brush fires from dry conditions.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the low 80s in the east coast metro area and the mid 80s elsewhere.

Thursday will bring a mix of sun, clouds, and passing showers, especially along the east coast.  Thursday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.

A front moves in on Friday, so clouds, showers, and breezy conditions are in the forecast as South Florida commemorates Good Friday and the start of Passover.  Friday’s highs will be in the mid 80s.  Showers will linger through the evening and overnight.

Saturday will feature a mix of sun, clouds, and east coast showers.  Saturday’s highs will be in the low 80s.

Sunny skies are in the forecast for Easter Sunday.  Sunday’s highs will be in the low 80s.By Donna Thomas, SouthFloridaReporter.com, certified Meteorologist, April 17, 2019
