Storms And Showers Return As Dangerous Heat Remains

dangerous heat

Storms and showers return to South Florida on Wednesday as the dangerous heat sticks around.  Wednesday features a mix of sun, clouds, and passing storms and showers.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the low to mid 90s — but it will feel about 10 degrees hotter.

Thursday will see a more typical kind of summer weather, with good sun, clouds at times, and showers and storms on an ocean breeze.  Thursday’s highs will be near 90 degrees in the east coast metro area and a bit warmer well inland and along the Gulf coast.

Friday will bring a mix of sun and clouds to the Gulf coast and the interior, plenty of clouds in the east coast metro area, and periods of showers and storms throughout South Florida.  Friday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Saturday will feature clouds, showers, and storms — not a great combination for the weekend.  Saturday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Look for another day of clouds, showers, and storms on Sunday.  Highs on Sunday will be mostly in the upper 80s.

The tropical Atlantic remains quiet.
