again on a hot and steamy Saturday. Showers on the ocean breeze will move through the area, especially in the Keys, in the morning, with brief spells of heavy rain in spots. Some afternoon sun with highs near 90 degrees will give way to afternoon storms will develop, especially inland. Sunday will bring a few early showers, afternoon storms, and highs in the low 90s. Look for typical summer weather during the workweek, with highs in the low 90s and afternoon storms.
Arthur has been downgraded to a tropical storm with winds of 70 miles per hour, but it is rapidly losing its tropical characteristics. At 5 am Saturday, Tropical Storm Arthur was located near 43.1 North, 66.9 West, and racing northeast to the Canadian Maritimes at 22 miles per hour.
