July Heat And Afternoon Storms

South Florida will see sizzling July heat and some afternoon storms on Wednesday.   The day features a mix of sun and clouds with storms and showers developing in the afternoon and evening.  Highs on Wednesday will be in the low 90s — but it will feel at least 10 degrees hotter.

The Fourth of July will bring hot sun and periods of showers and storms, with much of the activity along the Gulf coast and in the interior.  The evening should be mostly dry in the east coast metro area, but the Gulf coast could see some rain, so fireworks displays might be affected.  Thursday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Friday will feature some sun and periods of showers and storms throughout the area.  Friday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Look for a mix of sun, clouds, and afternoon showers and storms on Saturday.  Saturday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Sunday’s forecast includes sun, clouds, and periods of showers, with a few storms thrown in.  Highs on Sunday will be near 90 degrees.

We’re not expecting tropical activity in the Atlantic basin during the next few days.
