    The Pointer Sisters will take the stage in The Pavilion at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 8 p.m.

    Tickets priced at $40/$60/$80 per person are on sale now via Ticketmaster locations, online at Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-653-8000. The Pavilion box office will also open at 1 p.m. on the day of the show for on-site ticket purchases and will call pickup.

    The Pointer Sisters are an American R&B singing group from Oakland, California, who achieved mainstream success during the 1970’s and 1980’s. Covering more than four decades, their repertoire has included such diverse genres as pop, disco, jazz, electronic music, bebop, blues, soul, funk, dance, country and rock.

    Between 1973 and 1985, The Pointer Sisters recorded 13 top-20 hits including “Jump (for my My Love),” “Automatic,” “Fire,” “He’s So Shy,” “Slow Hand,” “I’m So Excited” and “Neutron Dance.”

    The group, which currently consists of Ruth Pointer, Issa Pointer (Ruth’s daughter) and Sadako Pointer (Ruth’s granddaughter), has won three Grammy Awards and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

    In recent years, the group has performed with some of the greatest symphony orchestras in the world, including San Francisco, Jacksonville, Atlanta’s Symphony Orchestra and the renowned Boston Pops.
