It comes as no surprise that as Donald Trump is making it harder for people to come to visit America, that fewer tourists are going to make it to Florida.
And that’s bad news for the tourism-dependent Sunshine State.
Compared to last year, international tourism is down 6.5 percent and the travel software company ForwardKeys says that reservations for flights to the US dropped 14 percent from Western Europe and a whopping 38 percent from the Middle East.
Seriously, Trump won’t let folks flying out of eight major Middle East airports use their laptops or iPads on the crazy long flights to the US, so folks are just choosing to go elsewhere.
Frommers, the travel guide people, has predicted the number of tourists visiting the US will decline by 6.8 percent this year.
