summertime heatSouth Florida is in the midst of summertime heat and storms on Thursday. After some passing early showers, Thursday features some sun, more clouds, and storms developing in the afternoon, especially inland. Highs on Thursday will be near 90 degrees.

Friday will bring clouds, passing showers, and some afternoon storms. Friday’s highs will be in the upper 80s. Look for tropical moisture to stream in over the weekend.

Saturday’s forecast includes some sun, plenty of clouds, and periods of showers and storms. Highs on Saturday will be in the upper 80s.

Sunday will be another day on the wet side, with clouds, showers, and storms. Sunday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

Monday features a bit of sun but more clouds, and showers and storms will pass by. Monday’s highs will be in the upper 80s.

summertime heatIn the tropics, we’re watching an area of disturbed weather in the northwestern Caribbean. The National Hurricane Center gives it a medium chance of developing into a tropical depression over the next few days. A wave off the African coast has a low chance of becoming a depression over the next 5 days.
