Early Showers, Hot Sun; Watching Tropics Again

early showers

early showers South Florida’s Monday will be another day of early showers giving way to hot sun. Look for passing showers and a few storms (especially in the Keys) during the first half of Monday. Then the afternoon features a mix of sun and clouds, with the sea breeze pushing storm activity mostly to our west. Highs on Monday will be in the low 90s.

early showers Tuesday will see some early showers in spots and a sun-and-clouds mix later, with just the chance of an afternoon storm in the metro area. Tuesday’s highs will be in the low 90s.

Wednesday will see the pattern continue, with some early showers pushing in from the coast and only isolated afternoon storms in the western suburbs. Wednesday’s highs will be in the low 90s again.

Moisture from the remnants of Tropical Depression # 4 will move in on Thursday and Friday. Look for more showers and storms on Thursday, along with some sun. Thursday’s highs will be near 90 degrees.

Friday will see plenty of clouds, showers, and storms, with some periods of sun. Highs on Friday will be near 90 degrees.
