“People in both parties want something different in the White House,” Blaise Ingoglia, Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, told South Florida Reporter“Unfortunately for the Democratic Party, their system was somewhat rigged for Hillary Clinton.  A lot of voters wanted Bernie Sanders, but got stuck with Hillary Clinton instead.  The Republicans elected Donald Trump.”

Tens of thousands have attended recent Trump rallies in Estero, Jacksonville, Lakeland, MelbourneMiami, Ocala, Panama City Beach, Sunrise and West Palm Beach, Florida.   Long a swing state with 29 of the 270 electoral votes needed to win, the state is an important part of Trump’s strategy to turn out large numbers of voters.

Winning the Florida primary in a landslide, some polls have Donald Trump running slightly behind Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.

“The media refuses to talk about the three new national polls that have me in first place. Biggest crowds ever – watch what happens!” Donald Trump tweeted late Friday night.

Donald Trump has long made claims that the news media are against him and voters seem to agree.  A new Quinnipac University poll found that 55 percent of likely voters agree that widespread bias and negative coverage have dominated the Trump campaign.   The poll found that 88 percent of Republicans cite media bias against the GOP nominee — along with 61 percent of Independents, 61 percent of men, 60 percent of those ages 18-to-34 years, 51 percent of those 31-to-49, 56 percent of the 50-to-64 crowd and 52 percent of those over 65.

“Donald Trump made the charge, and American likely voters agree: There IS a media bias against the GOP contender,” stated Tim Malloy, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University poll.

“This election is a referendum.  While Hillary Clinton offers more of the status quo, Donald Trump embodies shaking things up,” concluded Ingoglia.

The Trump for President Rally will be held Sunday, October 23rd at the Collier County Fairgrounds, located at 751 39th Avenue NE, Naples, FL 34120.  Doors will open at 3 pm and parking is available.  Trump is expected to arrive at 6 pm and speak for an hour.

Tickets are available on a first come, first served basis.

“I’m excited to support Donald Trump as the Republican nominee for President,” Joseph Manns of Margate told South Florida Reporter. “Let’s elect Donald J. Trump the 45th President of the United States and Make America Great Again.”
